A post based on the recent tragedies.

Dear You,

The world has heard about the shootouts. News channels let the bell of tragedy ring and we all felt it. Confusion, hurt, fear, angry, and compassion has stirred us all.

This website is tailored to help people through encouraging words. In my self, I have none. Yet, God has filled my mouth and moved through my fingers to let you know that you are not alone. There are people who are praying for you, crying for your loss, brimming with anger at the incident, and are hoping for peace to encompass you once again.

I know that I am, and I pray that the Lord of All, Jesus Christ, who is the source of all comfort provides you with himself as comfort, strength, and someone to share your emotions and find healing with.

This is not a cop out nor an attempt to manipulate your pain to tell you about my Savior. This is my branch of encouragement. You are not grieving alone. Though I may not fully understand what you are experiencing in the depths of your heart, I emphasize earnestly and wish nothing but the best for you.

Go through your process. Look for hope. Look for life. Look around and see those who mourn with you and seek to heal in a community of support locally and in the words/actions of those far away like me.

With all my love,

Ayoyna Speight
