How can we mend our pain with what we think having faith is? How can we continue to look at our selves positively as believers in Christ when we are struggling in life? Let's begin understanding the firmness of our identity in the midst of pain.
Dear Brothers and Sister In Christ,
Have you ever had the feeling of being lost and overwhelmed?
Usually, when faith is mentioned, it is normally associated with being bold in Christ or absolutely on fire for God. Yet, I would challenge you to believe that faith is not about the intensity of your happiness. Rather, faith is solely about your dependency on God.
As a Child of God, your moments of pain and hurt is not ignored, belittled, or laughed at by your Heavenly Father.
In fact he says, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11: 28 (NLT)
This is not a one time offer. This isn't a once-in-a-lifetime sale at Marshalls. No! It is a lifetime, VIP, full access pass to God.
This is who you are. A Child of God who is able to trust completely in the Father who will never let you down, flake, abandon, or neglect you.
You are free to not only depend on him but experience his presence walk through life with you. Yes, when everything feels alright and when everything feels like it is falling apart.
Remember,
YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD.
YOU ARE WELCOMED BY GOD .
YOU HAVE REST IN HIM.
Sincerely,
Your Sister in Christ
