What do we find in the search for happiness? What does happiness mean?

Dear Current You,
It can be hard seeing other people smile, living the life you dreamed. Sometimes it seems as if everyone is winning but you. Though, I can attest, the grass is not greener on the other side. There is beauty in your field and where there is vacancy on your land, there is potential for growth to spring forth. It is up to you to see it. Yet, the only way you would be able to is to be satisfied. Comparing yourself to others stem from believing that what you have or offer is not enough. What you are truly searching for is satisfaction, contentment in yourself and your life. That, dear, only comes from Jesus. Whether you have everything you desire, only God can supply you with potent satisfaction in life, everything else are additions that can absolutely bring moments of bliss.
If you would like to start your process of learning how to walk in satisfaction through the help of the Holy Spirit, say this prayer out loud.
"Lord, I believe you sent your son, Jesus Christ, to earth to live, die, and rise from the grave on the 3rd day for me. I accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and I wish to live for you. Holy Spirit, come into my heart, help me to get to know who you are as God and who I am as your child. Help me to find satisfaction in you. I surrender all. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
If you prayed this, Congratulations!
Please download the Bible App and start to know who God is, as well as who you are in him (I recommend starting in John). Also, look for a church that you are comfortable in that is Biblically centered so that you don't do this journey alone.
Much love.
Sincerely,
The Happy You
Title: Happiness By: Niomi Ayoyna Speight
Happiness, I grasp within my palms. I hold it dear, I clench for dear life. Not out of fear that it will leave, neither due to memories of past pain. Just because the beauty of it deserves to be embraced.

There is beauty in my field. Thank you for the reminder.
