Gasping, Ignored

What if you were seen?

Dear Current You,

God sees you. He knows exactly who you are, what you are going through, and every single fact about you. He cares and he is inviting you to know him. Through Jesus Christ, The Father has offered you the path to build a relationship with him and become apart of his family. If you want to know the Breath of Life, The Living Water, The Almighty God, and are willing surrender every single part of your life to God, say this prayer:

Father, I believe that you sent Jesus Christ, your son, to earth to die for my sins and rise from the grave on the third day for my victory. I believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, I have right standing with you and get to know you as you know me, deeply. I chose to surrender my life to you and get to know you as my Heavenly Father through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for this chance!

In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen!

Lungs failing.

Air evading nostrils' inhale.

Dryness encumbers the gasping mouth,

While everybody watches.

Fingernails mutilated from dragging

the fragile body connected to it, rotten from collecting

the fabric and DNA of people begged to take notice of the lack of in---;

Eyes acknowledge only to ignore.

Then, One stretched himself to help.

Blowing his breath in, strength encompassed once weakened lungs,

Stability emerges. One offered a drink of water,

Relief slides down the throat that was longing for this very moment, freeing the thirsty soul.
